Marriage Resource: Book Review

When it comes to books that offer practical, unique, not the same old hashed-over content, there is a good one I’d like to recommend. It is “Two Fleas and No Dog” by Craig Hill. The idea behind the title is that each of us is looking for a marriage partner who will make us feel good. That is what we do all through the traditional dating process. We look for someone who is attractive to us and who makes us feel loved and admired. In other words, each one of us is like a “flea” looking for the perfect “dog” who will provide us with everything we need. Much to our shock and surprise, after we get married we discover that the person we married is also a flea and there is no dog from which to suck the life.

Two Fleas and No Dog

Although the title is catchy, the content is serious, practical and helpful, offering several keys that can transform your marriage and make it the fulfilling, happy marriage you had always hoped for.

For those just beginning married life, these keys can make a significant difference in your marriage. They will enable you to be on the same page in your marriage, communicate with each other more effectively and resolve conflict much more easily.

“Two Fleas and No Dog” is also available as an audio book. Click on this link for the audio version of the book.
